Budapest Scientology Community Marks 10-Year Milestone

Nearly 500 Scientologists gathered in Budapest to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Church of Scientology headquarters on Váci Road.

Opened in 2016, the six-storey religious centre has become a centre for worship, education and community activities. The anniversary brought together a religious service, musical performances, a photographic and video retrospective and a presentation looking toward the coming years.

Over its first ten years, the Budapest church has also hosted community eu news programmes ranging from drug prevention and human-rights education to humanitarian and interfaith initiatives. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
